A New Direction: A Framework for Homelessness Prevention provides a starting place for a national conversation about how to think about responding to homelessness in a different way; one in which we also seek to shut the front door. The report sets out to define what we mean by ‘homeless prevention’, helps to develop a common language and lays the groundwork for policy and practice shifts that will reduce the likelihood that individuals will experience homelessness.
