Housing is a priority for survivors of sexual assault. Housing-related requests are growing in both frequency and scope, yet it remains the most unmet need. Based on feedback from the field, the National Sexual Assault Housing Collaborative crafted this toolkit to enhance community coordination and improve access to housing services for survivors of sexual assault. The toolkit dives into why survivors of sexual assault have housing needs, builds knowledge around common housing concepts (emergency transfer, continuums of care), explores funding opportunities, and provides tools for advocates to hone their skills when addressing housing requests.
