The Family Homelessness Task Force (FHTF) is a group of stakeholders from over 40 organizations with expertise in housing, homelessness, and child well-being, which came together to call more attention to the needs of homeless children and their families and to develop and advance recommendations to prevent and end family homelessness, while ensuring the well-being of families living in shelter. This report details the steps taken by organizations in New York City to address homelessness, and includes the following four recommendations for families at different sites of homeless experiences:

- Promote and Strengthen the Well-Being of Children and Their Families While in Shelter
- Help Homeless Families with Children Obtain and Retain Quality Affordable Housing with Access to Services
