The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), a social change organization, is dedicated to creating a social, political, and economic environment in which interpersonal violence no longer exists. With specific regard to housing, NNEDV works with national and federal agency partners to increase awareness about the dynamics of domestic violence and survivor’s housing needs, to improve access for survivors and systems’ responses. NNEDV provides in-depth technical assistance and training to government entities and non-profit organizations. Additionally, NNEDV closely monitors and affects legislative initiatives and federal housing policies that impact victims of domestic violence, including the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and the Homeless Emergency Assistance and Rapid Transition to Housing (HEARTH) Act.
