Consortium TA Team COVID-19 Special Topic Series: Responding to the Eviction Crisis

Participants have the opportunity to hear from the National Housing Law Project, the Rhode Island Homeless Coalition, and a Washington State Program on the current status of eviction moratoriums and what they mean for survivors and our housing insecure friends and neighbors. HUD programs and protections under VAWA are also explored. The call is interactive and participants were encouraged to share challenges and ideas during the call. Audience geared towards victim service and homeless providers, state DV/SA and homelessness coalitions, and Continuums of Care.

Presenters: 

The special topic series is designed to give advocates a chance to learn more about the available housing funding for survivors, ask questions, process issues, and provide mutual support on the impact of the COVID-19 virus in safe housing programs.
