Special Series on Coordinated Entry: Decision Tree (Pt. 2): Putting it into Practice

“I like the idea of changing our assessment tool, but I want to know how other communities are doing it.” Join us for the next webinar in our series: Coordinated Entry Decision Tree (Pt. 2): Putting it into Practice! In this follow-up to our August webinar, we dive more deeply into the Decision Tree as an alternative tool for prioritizing vulnerabilities and housing assistance. You’ll hear from authors in the DVHTAC Special Series on Coordinated Entry, Cris Sullivan, PhD and Kris Billhardt, who make the case for bold changes that aim to benefit not only survivors, but anyone touched by the trauma of housing insecurity. This webinar spotlights three communities who are in the process of transforming their systems – presenters talk about how their communities have been navigating through these change processes and share critical discussions, key decision points and their community’s motivations for risk-taking and innovation. Finally, you'll hear from representatives from the HUD Office of Special Needs Assistance Programs who share some key principles for including trauma-informed approaches and centering people with lived experiences in transforming coordinated entry systems.
